Manufacturing Defect Warranty

Warranty Coverage

Every Difinery piece includes a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials or craftsmanship.

Covered:

  • Setting or prong failure

  • Chain, clasp, or link breakage due to defective manufacturing

  • Metal defects such as cracks, breaks, or casting flaws

  • Any structural failure caused by defective materials or workmanship

Normal Wear Means:

Daily use under typical conditions without exposure to harsh elements.

What Is Not Covered

✗ Normal wear scratches, scuffs, patina

✗ Loss or theft

✗ Accidental damage, such as cracked stones or bent bands

✗ Chemical exposure, including perfume, chlorine, and saltwater

✗ Improper storage or moisture exposure

✗ Third-party repairs or alterations

✗ Fading engravings

✗ Damage outside normal use

Warranty Duration and Activation

  • Coverage period: 1 year from the purchase date

  • Automatic activation: No registration required

  • Proof required: Order number and photos or description of the issue

Warranty Claim Process

To file a warranty claim:

  1. Email support@difinery.com with your order number

  2. Include clear photos, the date you noticed the issue, and how you cared for the piece

  3. We respond within 24 hours with the next steps and a shipping label if needed

  4. Inspection completed within 3 to 5 business days

  5. We repair or replace and ship back within 7 to 10 business days

If the design is discontinued, we offer an equivalent replacement or a full refund.

Complimentary Care Services (Year 1)

Free Polishing and Cleaning

For the first 12 months, every Difinery piece includes:

  • Ultrasonic cleaning

  • Gentle polishing

  • Condition inspection

  • Free return shipping

Not Included:

Structural repairs, resizing, engraving, or damage repair.

Service Process:

Email support@difinery.com, ship your piece to us, we clean and polish within 7 to 10 business days, and return shipping is free.

You may use this service unlimited times during your first year.

Jewelry Repair Services

After your first year, Difinery offers fair-cost repairs, including:

  • Polishing and cleaning

  • Stone tightening

  • Clasp replacement

  • Chain or link repair

  • Custom resizing

  • Metal refinishing or structural repair

Ring Resizing Policy

Free Resizing (Year 1)

We offer one complimentary resizing for eligible ring designs within 60 days of purchase.

Eligible:

✓ Designs that can safely be resized

Not Eligible:

✗ Eternity bands

✗ Custom designs

✗ Non-resizable structures

✗ Rings resized by third parties

How to Request a Resize

  1. Email support@difinery.com with your order number and new size

  2. Ship your ring to us using a tracked, insured carrier

  3. We resize within 10 to 14 business days

  4. We ship it back free and insured

Additional resizing after the complimentary service is available at a fair cost.
